How to add a DirecTV Stream lineup in the guide?

Hey,

Am trying to figure out if i can use the ScheduleDirect Lineup as the source for my Guide, without needing to record any of the shows. I just want the guide.

I do have other IPTV sources plugged in, those channels show up in the guide.

So the SD ID for the lineup would be USA-DNOW602-X (it's a JSON lineup)

I used to use a HDHomeRun, but Mediacom closed down the ClearQam cable, so that device is no longer usable in this household, so i switched over to Directv Stream.

I think you could

- add the lineup in Settings->Guide

- create this as extras-DirectTV.xml in the data folder

- go Setting->Devices escan and ctril-f5 to refresh

- add the tuner, scan and select the lineup when prompted.

- chose the channels you want (click tiop left to de-select all)

- save

- then disable the tuner so recordings fail.
