Just now, I opened NextPVR to watch a recording of Meet The Press on NBC. Audio was normal at first, but after 15 mins the audio sounded very low-pitched - like a ransom demand in a movie. Same issue when I started to watch the recording of This Week with George Stefanopoulos

Problem also happened last Sunday, June 29th, on multiple recordings.

Please let me know if you can help.

log zip file is attached

Thanks

Your recordings have errors and since you are using the browser for playback you are basically hoping that ffmpeg can fix them on the fly which it appears isn't happening. You could try Direct Play with NextPVR, yauiclient or Kodi but I expect without fixing the source you will have problems.

Your signal seems strong, perhaps too strong if you are using a booster. Also you are also using BDA mode not HDHR mode which means you could have network errors that cause signal lose.

Thanks for the quick reply.

"without fixing the source..." can you tell what the source of the errors is?

I'm not boosting the TV signal, unless the SiliconDust HomeRun is doing something like that.

I started using NextPVR in October 2024, but last week was the first time I've had this audio issue - can you tell from the log what changed?

I'll look into the suggestions you made.

Cheers

By the source I mean the source input, what NextPVR is capturing is corrupt. Not just audio, video too. Nothing to indicate why. If HDHR mode helps it could be your network.
