We've had pretty much this web interface for 5 years, I haven't seen others complaining about issues with it. I get that may vary depending on monitor etc though. This text is very easy to read here.

Quote:- I thought I could delete a channel from the list by unchecking all but the one to delete and then click the trash can (a typical user interface) but that deleted everything except the one I checked (backwards logic). There's no explanation on the page or warning. Lost a lot of time to rescan devices.
I'm not sure I follow you. Which page exactly? Ultimately, when you click delete, it should only delete the channels that are ticked. I don't remember any other reports about this being backward.

Quote:- scanning ATSC tuner for channels didn't give an opportunity to select a Schedules Direct mapping so those all defaulted to DVB ATSC EPG. It took 6 HOURS to select the mappings for each channel. I have 5 HDHomeRun devices with 2 or 4 tuners each attached to antennae pointing in different directions. It creates a very long list of channels. Here's the 6 hours to fix since I was very leery of the merge process.
Did you try clicking 'advanced tools' -> 'Automap'? For most users, it should do it automatically.

With 928 OTA channels with lots of duplicates (OTA pretty much maxes out at 100 in huge US cities) I can see potential delays in SQL calls joins etc. The first thing to do is to make sure the true number of changes are being scanned and merged.

I woke up thinking about the remap issue. I suspect the issue is because the OP mistakenly selected ATSC/DVB at the beginning he felt he had to manually map the channels. The correct solution would be to automap all channels to None and then automap to Schedules Direct. Automap only works with None to allow using multiple source.
