It wont support the analog side of the Duo, but it might probably works with the digital BDA side.

I'm only interested in the DVB side of things so that would be great.

Will it work OK with the dual functionality of the card (recording on one card while viewing another channel) ?

Does GBPVR support Dual channel support?

Thanks for all you help

I have no idea what that is, so I'm guessing - no.

It is like the Dual tuner functionality of the Hauppauge PVR 500, was there any extra work required (your side) to support the PVR 500?
And is there any instructions on how to use a dual tuner setup - recording on one channel while watching another like with the PVR 500?

Or do you need to set up a seperate command line sheduler up to use the second channel?

I doubt it is like the PVR500, which is effectively two separate video capture devices on the card. In GB-PVR you set it up as two cards.

I've not heard of the FlyDVB-T card having two digital devices on board. Its probably just some marketing speak for the fact that some application which record transports streams would infact be recording more than one programme at once. GB-PVR doesnt record transport streams, instead it records standard MPEG2 files (Program Streams) which are only one programme.

You are right on the controler type score, after now getting the card installed and running, the card has one analogue tuner and one digital tuner which act as seperate tuners on the card.
Both can be run at the same time.
Is it posible to set up to BDA sources for the card do you think, one Analogue and one digital?

From your earlier post I am guessing no but I would be eager to help implement this functionality if it is not already in the product.

Other products like Beyond TV do support analogue BDA sources so it would suggest that it could be possible.

As I said earlier, the analog side of this card is not compatible with GB-PVR.

To be honest, I've got no interest in supporting the analog side of this device.
