Change Recording Directory

Hi, I added a new drive to store my video recordings on, moved the existing videos, changed the defaults through the config program, but the old recordings don't show up on the menu. New recordings are available, but not the old ones I moved.

Something I'm forgetting to do?

If it cant find the files in the place it originally record them, then it assumes you've deleted the files and removes the "recording" record from the database.

Is there any way to rebuild that record with the new location?

No, unfortunately after it happens, the data has been deleted from the database and there is no easy way to get it back in there.

There are plugins that allow you to export and reimport the recordings, but they're no good to you after the fact.
