ASUS PVR 416 TV tuner/video card?

Is this card compatible? In terms of functionality it is similar to the PVR250 and is Conexant Blackbird based....can I trick GBPVR into thinking its a 250 or should I just cope with the name brand and go hauppuage?

This is a very old thread you've replied to. Blackbird cards, if this is one, generally work with GB-PVR now.

To be honest, I'm not sure. I dont have one of these specific devices.

If its based on the blackbird design (mpeg2 encoder etc), and works in MCE, then it should also work in GB-PVR but may require tweaks to the direct.ini file if it doesnt match one of the existings card definitions.

If you install the latest version (1.0.8) but run GBPVR instead of PVRX2 then you will get basically a bug fixed 99.12 version
