changing channel stutter in live tv

Having a problem when I view live tv I get stuttering when I change the channel
for about 4-5 seconds then it smooths out and is fine. Does this sound like a problem with my computer? its only an 800mhz pIII?

I would say you don't have enough horsepower. I have the same "problem" with my setup, a via epia m10k.

I have the same, but it seemed to get a lot better after I threw in a nvidia 5600 256Mb I had in my wife's system. It was never bad enough to worry about, and the change was just kismet.

That said, I had more of a stutter when I tired evrsions after 0911, which sub said would be true. I'm still using 0911, despite the very nice improvements since, just because I like the smoothness 0911 has w/ the 150.
