I'll put my vote in for this one. There are a number of US cable channels that rerun episodes or old reruns of the show at the same time on different days and it gets to be a mess to keep manually canceling the extra pending recordings.

I tried it and found it terribly inconvenient. The extra recording page was confusing, the information on what it scheduled wasn't able to be kept with all the others, and not being able to schedule recordings from the EPG with/for it just totally defeats the purpose of it all for me.

It's a simple feature that could eliminate two extra programs, an entire extra page full of stuff with just one more option on top of the others.

Maybe if XR/CDK were totally reworked, they might be a better alternative to asking for the feature to be added, but I doubt it.
