I'm trying to use the haupblast external exe plugin, but the ir blaster software that comes with the hauppage pvr150 doesn't have the hcwirblast.dll

?

Its usually installed in c:\windows\system32.

I think its an optional install, so maybe you didnt install it?

Thanks sub. It did in fact drop it into winnt/system32, it wouldn't let me register it, but I found a checkbox in the advanced configuration for the hauppage irblaster configuration executable "allow external IR Blaster app" that was unchecked by default. Checking that registered / enabled the DLL, and it's all working now.

Yep, hopefully the threads stay on here long enough to be searchable, I didn't find anything on searching.

Couple other comments that might help someone if they find this thread:

The built in hauppage IR blaster plugin was crashing the recording service instantly on channel change when a record was scheduled. Using haupblast.exe with the proper checkbox set in haup's blaster config solved that.

The DISH 301 receiver uses IR code 0431 for the hauppage IR blaster config.

Great software, donation sent, I hope you consider open sourcing it at some point.
