Er no I guess I didn't read much of the above.
I have managed to make progress on the bda.ini, thanks Tim.
It will now scan channels but the video captured continuously stutters.
I feel I need to look at the MP2 demuxers and splitters installed on my system.
Also these drivers are beta's

Try again. When you get this error, check if the file actually exists.

I'm guessing it doesnt, and its probably because you dont have one of the required MPEG multiplexer filters installed. If you do have one installed, which one is it, and what version is it?

This is usually related to the MPEG multiplexer you're using. Which one is it, and what version is it?

Hi Sub

I had a very old version of the cyberlink mux, found using the utility you posted, so thanks for that too.

I tried the intervideo mux which gave a very jerky picture and no sound. The showshifter mux made gbpvr hang. Not as bad as actually trying to use the nebula drivers with SS itself though, reboots the PC as soon as you select the nebula as a source during setup. Nice!

Now using Cyberlink mux version 5.0.0727 and it seems to be working fine for live TV.

Thanks again

Ah, good. I'm glad someone has already found it useful.

Yes, this same version works well for me and my TwinHan DVB-S. There has been some reports of this version causing problems for Compro owners, so there must be some differences between the various devices.

The showshifter v3.10.0.2824 also seems to work very well for me.

For anyone else that didnt notice, you can now download a tool to check which multiplexer filters are installed on your machine. Link and details are in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=7229
