No I do not ask :-)

I hope I do not ask quite silly or stupid things....

So i must speed up the wake up to be faster than 1 minute.....
Should be possible :-)

After I posted the question I was a bit confused as in another thread there was a statement that described my question.

In the second post of http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=7099 you wrote :

Quote:thought of this... a function in the program record scheduler which will set the RTC(real time clock) in the motherboard to power on the pc maybe about 5 mins before recording starts.

It already does this.

So whats the real wold in the next release ?

I assume the "1 minute before recording"-scenario (with the passing time) and not the 5 minute stuff as I understood your post in the upper mentioned thread.

Regards
Sven

I was actually referring to the "wake up the machine" part of his request, not the 5 minutes bit. His post in the wishlist forum was suggesting I add the ability to wake the machine up to perform recording, then send it back to sleep when done.

As I said earlier in this thread, if you schedule a recording with 2 minutes pre-padding, the machine will wake up at the time the pre-padding was due to kick in. As I also said, in the next release, it'll wake up one minute earlier than this.

Pre-padding is nice to have, but expendable in my book...
