I have kind of a weird problem I think. The discovery channel is channel 45 where I live. Channel 45 is the only channel that has no audio when I access it through GBPVR. I am using a brand new Hauppauge 150PVR. At first there was no audio on just channel 45 when I opened wintv 2000. I went to channel configuration and deselested automatic fine tuning (ATF) for channel 45, and I adjusted the fine tuning manually and it didn't take much and the audio was there. Now everytime I open wintv 2000, channel 45 has audio just like any other channel. However if I access channel 45 by selecting the "Live Tv" button, or selecting to "watch" a program on the "Tv Guide", there is no audio. Please help me, I just know there is something simple I am forgetting to do. Thanks to all who reply.

If you know the frequency the channel is broadcast on, you can enter that in the place of the channel number.

The PVR150 seems a bit touchy. There have been many PVR150 owners that have reported no audio on one channel or another...

In the place of the channel number. If it sees a number greater than 999, it assumes it is a frequency.

Sorry I'm still not having any success. Where exactly should I enter the frequency? I understand that GBPVR will see a frequency in place of a channel number but, bear with me, I'm just not aving any luck.Do i go to the config then channels tab or capture sources? Also when I tried the tuning asst., on every channel, it says to make a note of the channel and enter it manually for it to tune properly, I feel so dense, what am I doing wrong?

In the capture source settings, there is a list of channels associated with the capture source. In this list you can either enter a channel number (which relate to predefined microsoft channel number to frequency mapping tables), or you can directly enter a frequency if you know it.
