Hi,

I've done quite a bit of reading on here so thought I'd share something useful that I've come accross. It's probably been posted before so apologies if it has.

I decided to use XMLTV to grab my listings since the other options available within GBPVR didn't really catch everything available to me on UK Freeview. After a bit of messing with the XMLTV configs etc I was still getting nowhere and so did a google and came accross this :

http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/

It's a point and click gui for xmltv that makes it very easy to configure. So I hope it can be of use to some of you Smile

Thanks for the link - Out of interest what do you get that you can't with bleb (http://www.bleb.org)?

Hopefully the Glossop transmitter will be upgraded in the near fututre so I'm not stuck with just 4 (yes FOUR) channels and can get Freeview and this may then be usefull for me!

You can set how many days you want to download with the latest version. Do a /Grab first and thereafter do a /Grab /D1. This will only grab 1 day at a time and stop all the problems with duplicates and messed around timings

That's true in that it should stop duplicates appearing in the pending and conflicts lists, but if programme times are changed then the recording will be recorded at the wrong time!

I would rather see the duplicates and know that my programmes weren't going to be recorded correctly so I could fix them manually
