Can't listen to FM Radio "No recorder available"

Hi Folks,

I've got a Hauppauge 500 and I've got the Antenna plugged into the FM plug. I installed the mp3 encoder and now when I try to play/record fm radio GBPVR displays a message that says "No tuner was availible the enable you to record the requested station.".

I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do to get this to work. I poked around the logs and I couldn't see any errors. I searched the forums and peeked at the wiki and no joy.

Anyone have any ideas?

Set the second capture source to the 'PVR500 (with FM Tuner)' card type. You also need to install the LAME encoder from http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directsho..._dshow.zip

Yup that got it, I'd had both capture sources set to 500 with fm tuner, I changed the first one to just a 500 and it works (I'd already installed the lame mp3 encoder). next stupid question:

Is there a way to schedule an FM recording? A local station here has a history of rock n Roll at 1am on sunday nights, I like the show but sleep is more important.

No, there is no mechanism to schedule an FM recording.

I have done a fresh install of new drivers, and fresh install of 09211, and I still get this message. I tried both tuners with, without, and each with and without FM (on my 500) and no FM radio
Fresh install of the Lame stuff too.
Any clues?

send your logs over to support@devnz.com and I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

To others that may have this issue.
When setting up the dual tuners, set the first to PVR-500, and the second to PVR-500 with FM, then install the Lame encoder (link above).
This sorts it all out.

Elcard has modified the download.
It now ONLY includes the lame.ax
Is there any other place with a reliable download for this?
