Just a minor issue that I think came with 92.11.

The default recording quality will no always be "Medium" regardless of what I try to set in the Recording source configuration.

When going back into the configuration pop-up, it shows that it still is "Medium"

Workaround: Setting the recording quality specificaly for each show I record.

A curiosity, when deselecting "use ffdshow if installed" I only get sound and a black screen (with osd) why?

On the same theme, I am curious as to how GBPVR defines the encoding type MPEG2, or 4 etc. with the GO700 devices likee TV Walker Mini.

I have defined two sources in my EPG, The (Antenna) Tuner and S-Video.

Checking the settings, I found that the Tuner was assigned MPEG2 encoding, but the S-Video source assigned MPEG4.

As I never touched these settings previously, I assumed this was a default setting. Is this the way it is supposed to set itself up?

It's always been like that, hasn't it? What you can set in the recording source config is what quality the the Medium/High etc should have. Medium is always the default. If you want to have anything else as default, you need to reconfigure the Medium quality to be something else :-)
I'm not always right

Hmm, maybe it was some other switch then?

My sympton is that that when setting up a recording, the quality is set to "Medium", I have earilier been able to get it to say "low" as default....

Windows just reinstalled gb-pvr upon me yesterday when trying to start it, so I lost the database and some configurations...

It would be nice if the default recording quality could be changed. Not by changing the "medium" quality of course, but by selecting any quality available. I have gigabytes plenty, so I would like to record in high quality. But now I always have to change the quality when I select something to record. Not very easy.

Sorry blader_se, this is normal. Medium is always the default profile. You can easily the settings for medium to make them whatever you want.

Could it be that I used XRecord.....
Hmm, no, I don't find any switches there either.
Oh well, I must have dreamt about it... :o
