Let me explain!

I have a digital card that is tuned to all the freeview channels

I also have an anologu card that is currently tuned to RTE channels - I am in Northern ireland.

Can I set the anaologue card to also record BBC1 thru Channel five so I can record someone on BBC1 and ITV at the same time?

If so, how do I tell GB-PVR which card to use?

Thanks

You can't specifically tell gbpvr which card to use, but (obviously) it will use device #1 for the first recording, and device #2 for the second.
If your analog card is device #1, then start that recording first (based on it's tv guide info) it should record what you want.
You can never have enough tuners!

Do you mean if one show is at 1800, and the next is at 1830, device 1 will automatically record the 1800 one, and device 2 will go for 1830?

Yes, providing they have the same channel lineup.
If you have two cards, and have set up two different channel sets, one analog, the other digital, then obviiously the digital card will record from the digital tv guide on the channel selected, regardless of the start time.

If all the channels you want to record are from cable, but some are digital, and some are analog, then you should set up 2, one for each card, so the digital card only records the digital channels.
