When i have a list of things to record it will record the first one on the list, but on the pending list it says that the same show is recording, even if it has been done for 3 or 4 hours. then all the other recordings after that one fail. i just updated GB PVR yesterday, so it is the latest and greatest version, but i had the same problem. this problem makes the whole thing usless. please help.

Email your logs over to support@devnz.com and I'll take a look. Include a complete description of when should have recorded at what time, and a list of those recordings which never completed.

it turns out that you can't have the remote controle enable in the config when you are running straight into your computer without a box. turning off the remote settings made everything work great.

That wasnt an accurate description of the resolution, so let me repeat it in my words...

Quote:I see in your logs you'd configured your capture source to use the
'Hauppauge IR Blaster' channel changer. This is nothing to do with your
remote. It is for controlling external set top boxes. This is the possible
source of your problem. Edit you capture source and set you channel changer
to 'None'.

So in summary, dont configure your capture source to use the 'Hauppauge IR Blaster' channel changer unless you're trying to control an external set top box.
