Live TV gives service error

I seem to be having a problem getting live tv to work. When I choose to watch live tv I get "Failed to communicate with the GB-PVR Recording Service. This software is possibly not running". The service is running when I go into services in control panel. I have restarted the service many times. I have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed, I have eveything I need in my PATH. I also tried the installutil GBPVRRecordingService.exe but it pretty much said that the specified service already exists. I've also reinstalled just to make sure and rebooted. NO JOY!!! I must be overlooking something. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks

You can get this if your recording source is not configured correctly.

Make sure your capture source is configured correctly. Go into the config app, and edit you capture source. Click the "settings" button for the recording source, make sure the settings are correct then click the "OK" button (DONT click cancel even if they are already correct). Do the same for the EPG source. The OK out of the Config.

Try again. If you still have a problem, email your log files to me.
