Want to get back into personal programming again and what better way to do it then contribute to the excellent GB-PVR Smile

Been looking around for prices for a copy of Visual Studio .net and found this:

http://thespoke.net/Software/

Claims to offer students a copy of Visual Studio .net 2003 for only $25!

Is it legit? Is it a limited version in some way? I don't know but I'm hoping one of you lovely people do.

Please respond Wink

Why not just download this? It's legit AND free:

Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition Beta Products

EDIT: 2005 is supposed to be released officially next month (late October, maybe?)

Seems VS Express uses .net 2.0 so this wont work with GB-PVR. Is this right?

Ok I'm going down the SharpDevelop route for now. Any suitable plugin source that I could take a look at?

Ok I took the plunge and paid £20 for thespoke.net student membership. Over a week later, (the payment system is a bit shocking), I now have access to loads of MS software. Thought it would just be VS.net but it's all of these too! Big Grin

I can confirm that the student deals on thespke.net are legit

I have just installed VS 2003 and am busy coding plugins while waiting for the MSDN iso's to download. Big Grin
