I usually put up a working version of the flat blue high vis skin within a day or so of a version change, and the current one on the new wiki definitely works with the latest version of GB-PVR. When you say they "all failed" what do you mean - ie. what symptoms do you have.

If unzipping the skins, have you remembered to keep the directory structure intact? (ie with the FBHV skin, there should be a directory called "Flat Blue - High Vis" under your gbpvr\skin directory, and there should be around fifty-odd folders under this)

I told the symptoms very often =)

Also... some skins produces error-messages, i think they are outdated and someting is missing within the .xml Files. This isn't so wild.

But the rest of the skins (and i tried them ALL) let GB-PVR even not start! I don't know, what it is. It doesn't appear any error-message..., nothing. I choose GB-PVR... see for one or two seconds the working Mouse-Pointer and then... nothing. Even the Task-Manager don't displays GB-PVR.

If i choose the default-skin (Blue) and alter this one, no problems are there...

It's really mysterious. Really, i can live with it, because i'll make my own Skin by altering the "Blue" Skin. But i think, that this could be some conflict, or so.

Yes, the Skin-Folder-Structure is right, there are no problems. I checked the Systematic of the Skins. The Preview within the GB-PVR Config is working..., only the skins self doesn't working...

I've tried every skin on the NEW wiki in the last couple of days. So far they've all worked for me.

All that the preview in the config shows is that there is a folder in the skins folder containing a preview.jpg file. Sometimes skins turn up as options in the config screen, but crash or have no image because they are just one or two skin sub-folders that were included in a plugin (eg the My Videos plugin creates a My Videos folder under a media experience skin folder). I have never had a problem with one of the latest version full skin installs though.

What errors do you see in the GBPVR.exe.log when you try and start the program after having selected one of the skins off the current wiki?

A skin is only as good as the plugins you have.
Most skins should work, at least for the main menu, regardless of age.
If a skin fails, it's because it has support for an older plugin version that's been changed since the skin was developed.
I've tried almost all of my skins, and other than some plugin failures, they all work for main menu, tv guide, search guide, recordings, LiveTV, Video Library, Music Library, DVD, FM Radio, and Netradio (the basic stuff).
You can never have enough tuners!
