Hi sub, how do I turn off the 1 hr recording limit for each file for manual recording? In addition, can you add a function with allows the manual recorded clips be store in other folder other than the TV buffer portion?

Thanks~

You can record up to 23 hours 59 minutes with a manual recording initiated from the recordings screen.

I assume you're talking about just pressing the record button when you're watching live tv? GB-PVR is based around EPG data. Normally if you press 'record' when watching live tv, it'll keep recording until the end of the current show. If you dont have EPG information, then GB-PVR assumes the current show finishes at the end of the hour. Your best bet is to either get proper EPG information, or use the "manual rec" button from the Recordings screen.

This is done because usually the file is already being recorded in the live tv directory for timeshifting, and pressing 'record' effectively just tells GB-PVR not to delete the file (which it normally would a few minutes later).
