I get no picture (live TV just a blank screen) after the comp woke up from hibernation mode. Does anyone know why? I am using ATI 550 Pro card. I haven't tried recording after hibernate tho.

Wild guess is that your ATI card does not support hibernation. A similar issue exists with the tv-out on the pvr-350. For further investigation, try doing a recording after hibernation. On the other hand, there might be other ATI 550 users out here that can confirm this.

I think the problem is when the computer come out from a long hibernation (like over night) then the live TV stops displaying. I tried recording after a short hibernate (gbpvr actually woke the machine up and record) and it does work. Does anyone have a similar issue here? I am using ATI550 pro with nVidia PureVideo decoder platinium.

A little late I know, but better late than never:

I had an issue when "Live Preview Mode" and "DeInterlace Filter" were turned on.

No Picture but sound

Otherwise all works ok, Hibernation or not?

you might get it working by using the 'devcon'-utility from microsoft. it allows you to 'restart' a single device.

you can put this into a batch-file called wake.cmd (in the gbpvr-recording) and make sure 'gbpvrwake.exe' is running.

every time your machine wakes up, all running instances of gbpvr are closed and wake.cmd is called.

see this post: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=599&postcount=45

download gbpvrwake.exe from here

download devcon from here
