Setting up GP-PRV in a Client Server Model

Can any one give me a brief run down on whether it is possible to set up GP-PRV on a PC with a TV-Card and then stream any content on that PC (including live content from the TV card) to another PC. I've heard this is possible but don't know anything about it.

What are the limitations (if any) of doing this? What kind of quality can be expected over a wireless network?

Any tips on setting up a config like this would be appreciated as I intend attempting it within the next few days!

This isnt supported, other than using an MVP as a network client.

Ah, thanks for clearing this up for me, I've read so many different forum posts over the past few days everything is starting to blur into one!

Without wishing to recommend rival products, if I were to attempt the client server setup with other software, do u think the wireless LAN performance would be similar to that of a MediaMVP? Just looking for an option to test the connection and quality before buying one.

Depends on how the software works - if it just transfers the MPEG (as the MVP does) it shouldn't be a problem
