In the config application i select the bda recording plugin and my card, the bleb EPG Source, update the epg.

However when i go to the live tv tab i get the message saying that no channels have been setup, and to go into the config utility and click the update epg button.

The card definately works as its all working in the compro utility that shipped with the card.

from the wiki site "you must press the “map channels to EPG” button after you have set up the EPG."
Have you done that yet?

yep ive done that, i got the error message: "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configuref properly and not already in use. (Reason: Failed to locate configured BDA capture device)"

i had a search through the wiki before posting on here and made sure i followed it all step by step but got the same problem.

Any ideas?

could it have anything to do with the compro programs that are installed? hogging the card or something like that?

Newbie user here and I'm having them same problem - and directly after the error message about failing to find the device it then comes up with a debug assert on line 150 of atlcomcli.h (Expression: p!=0), ignoring that you then get :

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Post your config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

looks like I'm being a muppet ...
the log looks like it can't find the "BDA Filter Tuner"

oh and MuxChecker finds :

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Program Files\InterVideo\Common\Bin\ivimux.ax
VERSION: 3.0.86.0

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\MpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.0727

sorted !
well at least onto the next stage.

I modified the bda.ini so that the T200 section had :

FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate T200 BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate T200 BDA Digital Capture

instead of :

FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate T200 BDA DVBT Tuner/DVB-T Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate T200 BDA Digital Capture/DVB Capture

tank_rider - give it a go! (sorry for the hijack)

got some channels now but no sound - willl mess around further

whilst trying to get the thing working - I downloaded the latest drivers from Compr and on reboot it all broke again Sad turns out with the latest set of drivers the BDA.ini needs :
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate BDA Digital Capture

instead of :

FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate T200 BDA DVBT Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate T200 BDA Digital Capture

DOH !
haven't had a chance to get the sound working yet though
