The mpeg file contains audio and video. When using the tvout from the pvr350, the decoding is done on the pvr. So audio is always output via the tvout. However, there have been several people succesful in looping the pvr audio out to the onboard soundcard input, and then to the soundcard output. In fact, that is the way it is currently suggested at the Hauppauge website.
I use the audio output from the pvr together with the mpeg decoding of the pvr. The soundcard output is used for all other sounds.

I was hoping that GB-PVR would have the abilty to output from the PVR350 & the resident sound card.
If that isn't the case then I'll stick to the stereo output from the PVR350; I have to have the naff lead coming from the card anyway - it was just that I have an optical audio out on my PC & was hoping to utilise that.
