Hello,
I want to start up the PC automatically over the bios. Is there a plug-in for gbpvr available wich makes this possible?

I think you mean resume from hibernate. Or resume from standby. Set this in the BIOS and make sure the pc will sleep after the preset time in windows. GB-PVR should wake your pc up to record a show or update the EPG. If this is not what you mean then................................

Or do you mean instead of entering windows xp you want GBPVR to load so that to the casual eye it will seem that it is not a computer running but a TIVO-like pvr. Check out http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Tips/BootIntoGBPVR

Hibernate is also referred to as S4 - it's a deeper mode of suspend. It writes all of it's memory to hard drive, after that the computer is *almost* completely shut off. It uses just a bit of power to detect a keypress or a mouse movement in order for it to resume from hibernation.

In my world you shouldn't have to change anything 8in BIOS) to let the computer wake up from standby. Schedule a recording with GBPVR, make the computer go into standby and see if it wakes up. GBPVR usually handles this for you.

You might find some options in your bios that are like:

"wake up on <device>"

Enable all of them and GBPVR will come back when u pressed the "sleep" key on your keyboard in order to record a show...
