Hello,

I have noticed when using the latest version of GBPVR that if I set it to record multiple shows it will record the first one, but then fail on the rest. If I manually select "restart recording service" inbetween recordings that works..

any idea why it does this? can I restart the recording service automatically like daily?

Thanks!

using windows scheduled tasks you ca. Create a batch file with
Net stop gb-pvr recording service
net start gb-pvr recording service

Then schedule that task when you want....it wont check if recordings are in progress or epg update is happening though..

To get to the root cause of the problem, ensure your logging level is set to debug, reproduce the problem and then upload all the log files so that Sub can take a look at them.

Also, check to see if there are any errors in windows event viewer around the time that it fails.

I think slimmtray will restart the recording service if it crashes.

Better to just set the recording service to auto-restart on failure. However this is assuming that the recording service is crashing, which we can;t be 100% sure is the case until we see the logs. (by "we", I mean Sub :-)
