Is there a way to control the video output of the MVP?
The signal comming out of my mvp is too dark and has too much chroma.

I could ofcourse correct it on my tv set but I own a simple tv which cannot
correct 'per channel'.
Software:
- GBPVR v1.1.9 using PVRX2
- NVidea Purevideo Decoder
Hardware:
- 3 X Hauppauge PVR 150
- Media MVP (RGB) on SONY 14" 4:3 CRT
- S-Video on SONY 32" 16:9 CRT
Computer:
- P IV 1.8 Ghz
- 768 MB DDR
- Ati Radeon X1650 Pro Graphics
Drives:
- 40 GB System (XP Pro)
- 300 GB Data (Recordings) on Lacie Firewire
- 160 GB Data (Video) internal
- 120 GB Data (Audio) internal
- 60 GB (Images) internal

Next upgrade: Faster CPU / more mem.

I'm having the same problem. Even with the TV brightness set to the max, the picture is too dark.

tipstir Wrote:Yes you can in the gbpvr \*.* directory (root) there is a file called direct.ini
right click on select open with and point that to NOTEPAD change the Brightness from auto to 75 and click save then do a restart of gbpvr recording services. I use to have the same problem as you do..
Will this change effect the way recordings are made, or just the way they are played back?
