For scheduled recordings, gbpvr does wake the computer from standby but the channel change does not function (works fine when the computer is fully awake). My computer takes anywhere from 30-120 seconds to be fully responsive when waking from standby. This is because it often pauses up to 3 times (presumably to wake or look for devices).

Does gbpvr have a configurable delay before issuing a channel change when waking a computer from standby?

No, infact GB-PVR is not even aware that it has been asleep.

Thanks for the quick reply.

For a future release, would it be possible to somehow add an additional automated scheduled proxy event (that does nothing but wake up the computer) 'n' seconds before a scheduled recording? (O.K. I don't know how many other people have a similar problem so I don't know how much priority my request will get).

I could fudge it by scheduling a very short recording in advance of a 'real' recording. An automated solution would definitely be better.

In the meantime, I guess I'll have to figure how exactly what is causing the process blockwhen waking from S3 standby.

To be honest, I dont think this will help you. By the time the GB-PVR process is allowed to resume running, windows should have successfully reinitialized everything. Its more likely a fault in a driver or something specific on your setup. What you're suggestion just shouldnt be required.

Other users dont seem to have this problem.
