I have the nova-t pci and am having trouble with the live tv video being out of sync with the audio. Sometimes ahead sometimes behind. It has been happening for definate with 9514 and 9516 not sure about before that. Seems to happen when I used processor hungry apps at the same time as watching live tv.
If I exit to the menu and then go back to tv as you would expect it is back to normal but will fall out of sync again.
Is there anyway to make gbpvr drop frames to keep the video in sync? Or is there another way of doing it?

I am using the nVidia Purevideo codecs which claim to be the best and lowest cpu usage but its still happening.

It only seems to happen on live tv the reorded stuff seems fine. Its mainly audio being delayed. It starts off with audio and video being in sync with each other and then gradually goes out of sync. For recording Im using the Microsoft DVR-MS at the moment but as far as I am aware the recordings are fine.

ok, all I can suggest then is try different audio/video decoders. I've never used the nVidia decoders, so I dont really know anything about those specific ones.

@Huugs

I have the same problem with the NVIDA Pure Decoder. Thus i use it only for DVD-Playback configured in the config-app from GB-PVR. For normal purposes i use the standard Hauppauge Decoder.

If i use the NVIDIA Pure Video Decoder, the LiveTV is some Minutes good, the it'll start to stock..., after some hours of watching it's more a slideshow than live tv. The same if i switch the channels with the NVIDIA Pure Video Decoder.

I think this could have something to to with the working of this CoDec. The NVIDIA Pure Video Decoder uses in some cases the PixelShader of your NVIDIA Graphicscard. Perhaps this is the "secret" point.
