Command Line Options

Hello,

Here is the list.

-dvd --> start DVD playback
-dvd:c:\dvds\AceVentura --> start a DVD from the hard drive (by pointing at directory containing ripped DVD)

-TVGuide --> These will take you straight to this screen
-Recordings --> These will take you straight to this screen
-LiveTV --> These will take you straight to this screen
-UpdateEPG --> force the EPG to be updated as GB-PVR starts
-OnlyUpdateEPG --> updates the EPG but never starts the GB-PVR gui.
-noframe --> startup without a title bar
-topmost --> to keep GB-PVR in the foreground even when it is not the active application
-mvpmode --> presumably for running the mvp server code

Hi JC,
Thanks for digging. I didn't know about the -pos option, and now I use it to get the application startup at my secondary display (the TV, see also this topic).

Note that there is a -noframe option too to startup without a title bar.

Maybe it would be something for the next release to have gbpvr list the options when you invoke it with -help, like most Unix applications do. At the moment it seems to ignore anything it doesn't understand.

I think there is a -onTop flag? Need to check 0.21 to confirm this,

It is added in the list.

I saw that all command line option from 0.21 where &quot;forgoten&quot;
