gday folks

I recently purchased a Fusion HDTV USB device for my PC. Since the software it comes with for viewing is quite sluggish I thought i'd give GB-PVR a shot. I recently downloaded gb-pvr and configured everything. Except when I click the 'Map digital channels to EPG channels' button I get the following error:

(GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use. (Reason: Failed to locate configured BDA capture device)

then

Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library
Debug Assertion Failed
Program: c:\program files\devnz\bpvr\config.exe
File: c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\vc7\atlmfc\include\atlcomcil.h
Line: 150

Expression: p!=0

any help would be most appreciated!

cheers,

ofir

The drivers for your device dont match the ones GB-PVR knows about. GB-PVR got a list of the driver's various filter names in bda.ini, but the card you're using doesnt have these same names. You can either try a different version of the device drivers, or update bda.ini to include the correct names.

well I tried and changed the bda.ini to:

[Dvico Fusion DVB-T USB]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV USB, AVStream Capture (DVB-T2)
FILTER_CAPTURE=Bluebird, WDM TsCapture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

"FusionHDTV USB, AVStream Capture (DVB-T2)" -- thats the device thats listed under the device manager ... still gives me the error am I missing a step in changing that?

That wont be the correct name.

You need to check the correct names using graphedit.exe. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...+graphedit
