Hi all, I havent posted much in the last few weeks because I was busy with my new daughter. We had a baby girl born on Dec 30th. She's a happy, sleepy beautiful little girl.

Anyway on to my PVR related questions. For Christmas I received a new PVR 150mce. I was about to install in my existing GBPVR box but I had a strange thought.

Would it be possible to add the PVR 150 to a second PC in the house and still have it controled from my primary GBPVR PC? I have had the the "native GBPVR client" configured and working in the past. I'm toying with the idea of putting it all back in serivce.

The main GBPVR server runs in the living room and an second PC connects to the server and the GBPVR data base. I was able to schedule and watch recordings as well as watch live TV.

I would like to add the second PVR 150 to my "client" PC so the PVR 150 can be used for other things when not recording for GBPVR. Any chance this can work?

Let me know if anyone has tired this with or wiithout success. What were the roadblocks

Thanks.
GBPVR Server:
AMD Sempron 3300+, 1gb DDR, 100, 200 & 500gb HDDs, DVD -/+RW PVR150 RETAIL, PVR150MCE.

Thank you both, this was our second. It changes the dynamic in the household. speaking of Dora. . . . . Anyone have Bob the Builder they could drop on a DVD and mail me(USA)? My son Love's Thomas the Tank Enigne and recently started watching "Bob". It keeps him busy when we need a few minutes.

Oh, yeah, any thoughts on the 2 computer, 2 tuner, 1 GBPVR?

Thanks

I have seen bob the builder on tv here - i remember because it's dubbed into american accents (i kid you not). have you tried searching the guide for it?

we are currently recording postman pat off hbo family, every morning at 8am. irony is, i hardly ever get to watch anything of *mine* on the tv!

sorry, what was the question??

Yep, I did that. Its only on once a week in my area and I forgot to set it to record all. So I only have one show. My son still watches it but its getting old fast. I was looking for a instant fix.

Thanks

Wow, tuner heaven. Does the recording service on the second PC look to the first one for all recording info? Or are you setting different recordings on each PC?

I'm trying to use one guide but use two PC's for recording.
