I have a few questions on recording...
Is it possible to watch a program whilst recording it? At the moment as far as I can distinguish it is, but you have to go into recordings and the pending and click watch on that, but I find if I've only recorded ten minutes then even though whilst watching that ten minutes another ten were recorded, it will stop after ten?
Perhaps a wishlist item but I could be wrong so I thought I'd check here.. it would be much better if when something is recording, you could still watch that 'live', so when you click on it in the EPG the 'watch' button is still there, and when you click 'Live TV' it goes to whatever is being recorded; i.e. if some flag is activated saying 'Recording Active' then when Live TV is clicked it simply watches the feed but sends no change channel signal.
Also would it be possible to watch DVDs whilst recording something?
Oh and I've noticed that if I start to record something that is already on, sometimes it never actually records anything (maybe because it has no time trigger activation as it already passed when the program started?).
Thanks!! [Image: biggrin.gif]

Its on Sub's TODO list.

I guess this should be possible, though note the limitations of DVD's depending on your output.

Hadn't noticed this, though it was a previous version when i tried this. I'll try this as well and see what happens,

Cheers,
Colin.

Cheers Colin!

I'll keep my eye out for any updates then! If you can pause TV for split second and then carry on watching it, would it not be virtually the same mechanism for watching a program that is currently being recorded?

Thanks again!
