MyVideos not getting all the episodes

I have just started to use the MyVideos plugin for it's ability to sort shows by season, etc.

I am having a weird problem that I can't seem to remedy. I had a directory for "The Office US" and in it I had 12 files (named "The Office us - s01e01.avi"...) and when I did a find episode it did not find them. However when I do an episode browse with "The Office US" that defaults in the search it finds all of the episodes no problem.

That is not what the wierd part is.

I had 7 episodes missing from my collection that I put into the directory today with the exact same naming convention "The Office us - s02e04.avi" and when I do a scan - find episode it finds the 7 new ones no problem.

I have also tried with Law and Order CI and it found those episode details no problem so I am sure that I am doing the process right.

Any ideas?

However when I do an episode browse with "The Office US"

episode browse means you manually select the episode, so no wonder you found it.

try the naming convention [s]x[ep] eg "7x01"

Yeah, I have tried that. I have basically tried every naming convention I could think of. I didn't know if there was a cache somewhere or a file that would contain the data that would stop MyV from looking up the other episodes.

I find it strange that it worked for the new episodes that I added, but not the ones that were already in that directory even though they had the same naming convention.

It is probably not worth spending that much time on, I just found it strange that it didn't even add the - not found - files to the MyDatabase file while the others are all there.
