I recently came across an application referred to as eventghost which promises to output IR signal with UIRT and other IR equipment. I was wondering if someone would try it out and if they have luck add to the wiki as a girder alternative. Currently I'm waiting for my UIRT to arrive.

PVR-150 MCE
Firefly Remote
1 gig ram
3 screens
6600 GT (2 screens 27" lcd tv and 17" lcd monitor)
old ATI radeon 7000 (17" CRT monitor)
