I dont know if this is a support or plugin matter, but im guessing im doing something wrong, so i place it here.

I got a Huappauge PVR 500 MCE and when i first scanned the channels for both tuners, i called them the same.
Later i saw when i was testing to record two shows, it told me that there was no free tuner available to do the recording. Im my stupidity, i cleaned out all the scannings and reentered them as eg. 1_CH2, 1_CH3 resp, 2_CH2, 2_CH3 etc. just to let me see the difference between the turners.
when i tested the recording, i KNEW that i did not take the same tuner for the second recording, but i still got the error. After the change it all worked fine.

so i wonder if GBPVR seems to think that the tuners channels with the same name is the same tuner(hope you get my point)

anyways... now to the XMLTV stuff.
i added this cool little feature and ended up with another set of "channels" when looking in the "manual recording" list. These has the icons for the channels, but no channel was tuned for it. This made me think that i saw something about that the channelname MUST be the same as the XMLTV-channelname, and thereby "installing" the problem by recording two shows again.

Is there something wrong, or is it me.... again :p

Manually created channels (via the button) are not treat as the same on different capture source. You really need the channels to be created via XMLTV or one of the other EPG options for them to be treated as the same channel.

If you have the frequencies you can enter them in the edit sourceplugin in the sourcechannel colum. After that you can arrange them in the right order in the channels-tab.

I wouldn't know because I have only one tuner:o
I guess you have to add a second direct-source, select the second tuner and do the channel-thing again
