Does the MVP screen location details in the config.xml file, shift where videos and livetv are displayed on an MVP or does it only affect the drawing of the menu?

I tend to find my videos and tv are too wide for the screen.

No, it only affects the menu position. I dont have any control over the position or size of video when playing fullscreen.
