I didn't... I use the up and down arrow. Its not real intuitive... I'd like the channel/volume up and down to work but they don't. Haven't had time to play with this either, which appears to be a replacement to the buggy ATI software!

For volume I actually set HIP to control the master volume and show OSD - OSD sample Volume 20%. Since my computer is a dedicated HTPC, I prefer one volume control for all my apps. Are you guys having trouble setting up HIP?

As for channel up and down, I think mine is set to page up and page down. My wife is catching up on two weeks of Tour de France so I don't have access right now.

As for the ATI key factor from sourceforge it takes control and doesn't let other RW plugins work - which is problem for me b/c I launch other players from GBPVR. If you have the RW 1 or RW+ then use the RW key factor and RW key master, I get the feeling that it works well.

FYI, my HIP+RW setup is near perfect - there are some quirks but I only have to play support maybe once a month for my wife.

Jam,
Using HIP, I still need the ATI software installed right? Does Hip sit between the RF receiver and the ATI software or between ATI software and the OS?

Do you have a HIP "file" that you could post/send so I can see where to start? I am finally ready to start using ALL the buttons on my remote.
Thanks again dude!

You still need to use the ATI software, but you'll now only have one plugin - the one for he RW to send messages to HIP. You load this into your ATI RW software, then in your HIP configuration I believe you use the generic input. I think also that my RW software is more stable if I get rid of all the other plugins.

I'll post my HIP config file later tonight.

Sounds good, Thanks Jam! I look forward to seeing it and "disecting" it. Smile

Here are my two files that I think will get you going. Take away the .txt extension. It has my complete setup so I'm unsure if you will be able to open profile. Put these in your HIP install directory.

In order to get hip to load it, I think you open up hip and under file, load configuration.
