Petkeeping Show will not play on MVP

I know some people are going to think I have been hitting the sauce, but there is one show that I record that consistently will not play on the MVP. "Pet-keeping With Mark Moronne" which airs at 7:30 am Eastern on Saturdays on our local Fox station is the culprit. It used to play fine, perhaps two months ago or so. I don't have any old recordings to check with the present version.

I have no problem playing any other recordings and I have even tried recordings in that same time-slot and channel on different days and they play fine. I have tried re-encoding the show with two different programs and they still will not play. My wife tried watching today with Live TV and it did exactly the same thing.

The show plays with video players on the PC. I've not tried playing it on the PC with GVPVR, as I get an error for all files playing locally and have not bothered to try to fix it since I never watch with anything but the MVPs.

The only explanation I can come up with is that the broadcaster is doing something funky with that show that the MVP does not like, but I have no idea what it could be.

Next time the show is on, can you make a one minute recording during the show, them make it available for me to download somehow?

Actually, I have one now that I can edit with TMPGEnc which won't shouldnt' change the file other than at the cut point.

Ok, tried it after editing to confirm you still have the problem with the short clip.

I sent you email with the download link. I ended up using VideoRedo as I forgot TMPGEnc only saves in DVD format.
