Very often, my MVP reboots when I am nearing the end of watching a recorded show and I press the skip button. If there is no upcoming commercial it often simply reboots the MVP (which has no problem restarting). This is not an issue when there is an upcoming commercial, as it just skips to that commercial.

It's like it doesn't know what to do when you skip PAST the end of the show. I think this is the error, but attach the logs in any case. 30_24088 dongle.

I've tried to reproduce this error this afternoon, but wasnt able to. Does it do it on every recording for you?

It should handle this correctly. Before every skip it checks the current file duration and makes sure the skip wont be beyond that time.

I can't really answer that, as I haven't always tried to skip when I'm past the last commercial on every show I have recorded. I normally use the MVP remote to just go back back abck to the menu to exit. It does seem to happen very often though.

I have about 5 or 6 recorded shows at the moment I can try and run them all one by one and get you the logs.

I've noticed the same reboot behavior. I haven't tested to see if it happens everytime. I think I'll do a little testing and report back later tonight.

Well, tested this a few times on different files and my system is not rebooting when skipping past the end anymore. Might be the upgrade to .97.13 solved it for me.

There was a problem like this in versions prior to v0.97.13, when you tried watching a show that was still recording. Other than jksmurf's report above, I wasnt aware of any issue with this relating to already completed recordings.

Damn. I also tried two other (completed) recordings last night and they were OK. But (honest) it happens too frequently to consider as a one-off glitch.

I will post logs when (rather than if) it happens again, maybe I can identify "somethink else happenink".
