This sounds a bit to me as something that the microsoft patch I posted about in a another thread could be related to. Are you running sp2?

Yes, I am running SP2 with Automatic Updates enabled.

Upgraded to v98 a couple of days ago and this error appeared for the first time in a number of weeks (it has not happened since I installed the Microsoft patch).

I'm not entirely sure if this psi.log will be of any help since it is the one after the recording service crash. The recording that was occurring at the time was 0 bytes before the crash and the restarted recording was 0 bytes aswell.

Microsoft error reporting waded in about 9 hours later to tell me something the recording service had crashed. Again, a .NET 2.0 Runtime Error, "Faulting application gbpvrrecordingservice.exe, version 1.0.2445.14611, stamp 00000038, faulting module psiparser.ax, version 0.1.0.0, stamp 44ff4dd7, debug? 0, fault address 0x000018c4.".

I include all my logs but the psi.log is too big even when compressed. If it would help, I can email to you. It is nearly 4mb as a zip, just over 2mb as a rar.
