Hi,

I've been using GBPVR for a while and reading this forum.
I've seen a few posts about using SQLite. SOunds like it might give a more stable system.
Is there a step by step guide to migrating to SQLite?

Thanks
Alan

Just run ChangeDatabase.exe (in Program Files/devnz/gbpvr/) it is probably advisable to back up the usual stuff (as if for upgrade) before commencing

... and do NOT close down GBPVR in the tray before you do the conversion or you will lose some recodring settings. At least I did.

Does it help with a stable system?

I have noticed my computer locking up sometimes with GBPVR (When recordings are recording.) and I can not track it down (Logs show nothing).

To be honest, probably not. If you're computer is locking up, then its probably some driver or hardware instability in your system. Changing the database used by GB-PVR is unlikely to help this. Wont hurt to try though...
