As a side note, I downloaded ScanChannelsBDA from one of the other threads on the forum and used that to see what exactly I can get from where. I'm going to use that to modify one of the BDA files to include all the transmitters I can see to get the maximum number of channels.

Are you using the BDA EPG? How are you finding the DVB in general?

I'm using xmltv to read the listings from the radio times site.

Once it's all configured it works pretty well. The picture quality is better than my rather ancient Nokia onDigital box so I'm happy. It's a bit fussier about signal strength than the Hauppage box I use on my laptop, but is otherwise OK.

How are you finding scheduled recordings? I've noticed (tonight for example) I had a program record the first part, skip the news inbetween, then fail to record the second part, saying signal quality was -100. Restarted recording service and it picked up again fine. Not sure if it's drivers or something gbpvr is (or isn't) doing..

Yes, there's some strangeness going on with the KWorld's reception. I've had similar problems with it rejecting channels that goes away when I restart. I'm not sure if it's a system problem, gbpvr, the drivers, the unit or my antenna. I'm going to try it on ProgDVB and see if there are similar issues.

I too am noticing the BSOD behaviour when scanning for channels.
What is the XMLTV Plugin, and how does it work with Radio Times?

Are you still getting this lock up behaviour? I noticed the changelog of the dvb-t plus software mentioned improved autoscanning. Would this carry across to gb pvr?

Thanks charleski and sub, I'd just about given up on this piece of kit until I found GBPVR and your thread!

Trying to grab a list of channels for the XMLTV plugin fried my brain for a bit but then I found XMLTVGUI on:

And it's just what a thicko like me needed. Just a bit of tweaking needed and I'll be away!
