Hi people

I am using a Dbox to stream video to GBPvr.

If I'm recording for instance a football match and it goes over its allotted time what will happen with the recording?

If you use a proper PVR it will extend the recording to cover it but is there any way that GBPvr can get the extra info to do the same from maybe the internet or via ntl?

I realise that EPG is not realtime so I assume it's the PDC info broadcast that gives a real PVR the added information to extend the recording.

Is there any info available that can be added to give GBPvr the same information?

If not for the DBox what about usng a DVB card for terrestrial channels as I'm adding one of those to my PC shortly?

Thanks

Nick

It'll just stop at the time the recording was due to finish. If you think there is a risk a show will run over, you should schedule it with a suitable amount of post padding.

I'll do intend to add dynamic updates for those using the DVB EPG option, but the other EPG types will be out of luck. I'm not sure when this feature will be added though.

Sub... you are a star. I didn't think there was a way of incorporating it onto channels recorded via a Dbox but thought it might be worth asking anyway. As for via DVB that would be nice if you could add it (just for DVB-T or DVB-S/C as well. I assume just DVB-T). Not a huge issue though but something that if possible would be a nice feature if you're trying to create perfection Big Grin
