This is a recent rebuild/fresh install of 97.13. Some of my recordings are showing up with stange beginning and end times (like 7:27pm to 7:58pm)

I have my default recording padding set to 0's
and I didn't add any padding when I set up the recording for the particular show.

Attached is a screenshot of how it's showing up

Any ideas? My system clock is updating from a time server every day and I haven't changed anything on my zap2it account.

I've seen about two reports of this over the last two and half years. I dont know why this very rare bug occurs, and I dont see how it can possibly happen. Personally I think its some bug in the Microsoft OleDb driver and/or Access database.

I had it happen a few days ago. I'm on SQLite. I'll see if it happens again and provide more info.

(sounds like a drug now that I re-read that Wink )

I might have said that too fast. I'm not at home right now, so I can't check. Is SQLLite default when you do a clean install nowadays? Because if it is, then I use SQLLite, otherwise I don't Big Grin

Its the default for the next release (v0.98). The current release (v0.97.13) still defaults to Access.

found another user on the zap2it boards

Any tips on figuring out if it's the Microsoft Ole Db driver? would an uninstallation/reinstallation of .net 2.0 reinstall this driver?

Try switching to SQLite using the include ChangeDatabase utility, then see if it reoccurs in the future.
