Hello,

I have a Hauppauge 150 and couldn't be happier. I am at a uni getting analog cable in my dorm hooked up to my PC and everything is working splendidly. GB-PVR makes the whole situation that much easier and smoother with it's tremendous functionality.

I recently got a gamecube and plugged it in. I am sure this sounds ignorant, and I forget the names of the cables, but I plugged in those red, white, and yellow male cables into my PVR. It is a stereo AV cable, not a S-Video Stereo AV cable.

Now I need to know what channel to tune to (I'm assuming this is how it's done) in order to get GBPVR to show me what my gamecube is doing.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
dxInt

GB-PVR and a PVR150 isnt really the right sort of software/hardware for doing this. You'll always get a delay from the live signal, pretty much wrecking game play.

Even if I used an RF Switch and an RF Modulator?

yes. The delay is introduced by the hardware MPEG encoder in the capture card.

This is bad news... should have done my research.

Can you tell me how to do it so I can see the delay for myself?

Its pretty much the save as the steps in the thread below this one: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=19727. In this case they're using a VCR, but its pretty much the same thing.

Thank you sub. For your response and for GB-PVR!

::EDIT::

Using Dscaler seems to remove the lag completely. Of course, I'll still be using GBPVR for my television needs Smile
