ASUS K8N-E deluxe, NVidia NForce 3 250 chipset, Nvidia GForce 4400 8X AGP card, PVR-350.
So, I'm using overlay out now, was always using the 350's coax out before. It looks great, recordings play great.
Still in 96.12, I noticed an issue where liveTV would work fine initially via overlay, but after changing channels I'll have audio sync issues.
I have tried setting the liveTV buffer to almost nothing and to almost one and a half seconds with no change. the liveTV buffer drive is the boot drive and separate from any drives where recordings are saved.
Pressing Pause to put the thing into timeshift mode and all is well. Same with simply exiting liveTV and then returning to watch liveTV on the same channel.
This also occurs in 97.13 and 98.08. I had to take 98.08 off as some plugin I was adding really mangled it (I did the migration twice then gave up for a while), but I'll have time today to sit down and get a basic install going.
Thoughts? Other things to test? Unfortunately I also upgraded all the NVidia chipset and card drivers, and RealTEK audio drivers, as part of getting the overlay going- so I have changed a lot on the system.
Thanks!
