Is there a way to have timeshifting enabled from the onset, like dedicated PVRs do?? i don't like that you have to pause once to get timeshifting working - I want to be able to roll back x minutes at any time.

There is an option in the config under the Misc. tab.
uncheck 'Use Live Previw mode if possible'
