fast playback when timeshifting

I have read a few old threads on this but don't know what the solution is.

What I am seeing is that if I timeshift live TV, that is I pause for 10 mins for example the phone rings, then I resume, and then at the commercials I skip forward.

Now what I see sometimes when skipping or resuming is that the video is running in fast speed, maybe 3 times, the sound is playing ok, then if I skip forward or back it will sort itself out sometimes.

Is there any fix for this?

Its most likely to do with the mux filter you're using.

I will try a different one - I'm using one of the Cyberlink Muxes - I think there were a selection of possible choices.

This is one of those behaviours that has probably always been in my setup but as I play with the system more and discover new bits then more will show up. This is the first time that I have used timeshift TV for more that just the case of "oh look live TV pauses".
